One very useful and important SEO Linkbuilding tip is to find blogs that are keywordluv enabled. This is a very helpful tip that will not only return keywords that are relevant to your blog but will also give you blogs which are currently using the keywordluv wordpress plugin module.

Want to test it out?
Go to google and type this in:::

keyword “Enter YourName@YourKeywords in the Name field to take advantage.”

Now replace the first bold word : keyword with any keyword that is relevant to your blog’s niche.
For example, if I want to find blogs with keywordluv enabled, I would type this into google: domain “Enter YourName@YourKeywords in the Name field to take advantage.”

That above search query will return all blogs that are using the keywordluv module that also contain the word “domain”. If your keyword was toys then just change the word “domain” for “toys” in the above example. Remember to ONLY change that ONE word, leave the rest EXACTLY as is.

This search would result in all the blogs that contain the keyword domain and are keywordluv enabled – Then you simply find a post that is related to your blog and write a VALID comment. DO NOT just say “awesome post” or “good read” This is arrogant and your comment will more than likely be deleted. Read the post, Leave a good comment. Once your comment is approved, you will automatically have your latest blog title appear under your comment. Not too bad huh – this can create more traffic and create more awareness for your blog.

Another great tip to use is the following…. Once again Type this EXACTLY AS IS INTO GOOGLE:

keyword “free directory” + “submit url”

keyword “free directory” + “add url”

The final SEO linkbuilding tip I want to share with you is this… Once again – type this as is into google:
“powered by WordPress” + commentluv + “your keyword”

Backlinking is one of the most important methods of obtaining SEO success. A very important question you must ask yourself is, “How do I get quality backlinks, and increase my blog’s exposure so I can be found in google?” Before we get into this topic, it is extremely important to know what a backlink is.

A backlink is simply a link that is from another site that is pointed back to your blog or website page. Backlinks are crucial since they help you rank well in search engines, aka google – the king. Everyone wants the king to know them personally, so you can see how proper backlinking is important. There are many ways to get valid backlinks to your site and I suggest that you start building backlinks naturally for the first few months.

First, I recommend writing articles and submitting them to various directories, such as eZine or Buzzle. Post your unique articles to Buzzle first since they do not allow duplicate content on the web. After your article is accepted and submitted, (you will automatically get a backlink) then post it on your blog and eZine, along with a few other if you want to. This is the first step to building backlinks. Submitting to article directories is essential since it will easily help build traffic to your site.

The next step is to submit your site to link directories. If you are not sure where to find them, just google link directories and many will come up. This process submits your link to hundreds of link directories online. The only downside is that this process can take weeks for your blog/site to get approved and you don’t know where your link is going to be anchored. Another downside is that you don’t know the pagerank of the sites your link will be on.
As you can see this is a long and tedious process – so another option that is available is purchasing backlinks. Do NOT get suckered into ads that say “Get 1,000 backlinks for $9.99″ or some other crap like that. It is a scam and you will get ripped off – not to mention you might get banned from google and never have your site indexed, which means no one will ever find your blog. Buying backlinks are expensive – plain and simple. There is a good old saying “quality vs quantity” and that holds true. If you want to get a backlink from a site that has a page rank of 5 or above expect to pay for it. Pagerank is based on a value from 0 to 10. The majority of sites are ranked 0-2 and those backlinks will obviously be cheaper. ONE link from a site that has a pagerank of 6 is equal to 91,414 links from a website that has a pagerank of ONE!
Realize that there are millions of pages that are ranked ZERO. This example is given for a site with a pagerank of 1.

The biggest benefit of buying quality backlinks are traffic and search engine exposure. Even with unique content on your site – chances are that someone somewhere else did the same exact thing. So how does your site become shown on google? With quality backlinks – which will improve your chances of being displayed on the first page in google. I suggest setting aside a certain budget each month to build quality backlinks. DO NOT spend a ton of money right away and say you are done. Those links will look unnatural and will raise a red flag in search engines. Start out small – buy 20 or 30 backlinks from a pagerank 3,4, or 5. You can find quality backlinks on various forums or you can find link brokers online.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Research the places you are considering buying backlinks from. How long have they been around? What pagerank will they submit your links to?

ASK QUESTIONS. If they don’t answer them – MOVE ON. Then keep track of your progress with google webmaster or yahoo site explorer. Did this work? Did you see an increase in traffic? Are people returning back to your page as new content is posted? If so, then buy another X amount the next month and keep building more and more. As time progresses and you keep adding quality content you will see improvements and you own pagerank will improve.

caution Biggest Blog Mistakes to Avoid

According to Blog Pulse, there are 147,027,076 identified blogs worldwide – 56,372 NEW blogs and 1,020,810 blogs indexed in the last 24 hours. That’s ALOT of people blogging alot of content.

So what is everyone writing about? How much quality does their blog contain? Simply put, I don’t know. What I do know is that everyone want’s a content rich successful blog. Who doesn’t?

Just google “blog tips” or “blog guide” and there are over 557 MILLION hits – now on the contrary google “blog mistakes” and your results will be dismal. I found some great articles mentioned in the links below, but nearly all of them are outdated – I have deciced to create a new, updated list. Instead of adding to the 550 million + results, I would like to present some simple steps every blogger should avoid…

It is extremely important to get your own hosting and domain name. This will separate you from many people and make your blog fully customizable. There is a significant difference in having your own blog on versus If you use your blog will always be shown as a subdomain as opposed to have your own url extension.

This is a myth that many people believe it. If I blog about X, people will read it NO this is not true – you actually need to promote your blog to get readers – and informative, constructive posts to keep these readers coming back. A good way to promote your blog is to network. There are tons of various networking methods that will provide excellent exposure to your blog. Another tip is to have a contest in order to promote you blog – I will be having my first contest in a month or so and plan on creating t-shirts with my logo and site printed. You can also submit your articles to publishing sites in order to gain more exposure

Having bad or no search enigine optimization means that your site will not be ranked by google. Google is the leading search engine and has excellent algorithms that will crawl to your site – USE them. If you don’t know about SEO optimization I suggest reading this. I also found another article about google backlink secrets.

I cannot stress the importance of linking your articles more. This is an important concept which helps your build backlinks. The more you sites that link to you, and vice versa, the more exposure you get! So if you come across an article that you found interesting and want to put your own spin to it, LINK it! I am linking this article to 3 sources that I found, and would appreciate it if those 3 webmasters would link back icon smile Biggest Blog Mistakes to Avoid

If your blog focuses on a specific topic, say for example, zombies taking over the world – You’d find one reader right here – you should join a forum that has topics related to your blog. You should also find other blogs and comment on them – dont spam with crap – leave detailed comments that actually make sense…. not say: nice, or sweet… Make sure to always leave your name, email, and website since it will be shown to anyone else reading the same blog as you.

These are, what I feel, some of the biggest mistakes a blogger can make – I will keep the list growing as I get more readers and will possibly make a part 2. Feel free to comment, link, buzz, etc this article. I appreciate your input!
